Job Summary:

As a Junior Game Developer, you will assist in designing, developing, and testing games across various platforms. You'll work closely with our experienced team to create engaging gameplay, resolve technical issues, and optimize game performance.

Responsibilities:

Programming:

1. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in languages like C++, Java, C#, or Python. should know how to make multiplayer games too.
2. Implement game mechanics, AI, physics, and graphics.
3. Collaborate with designers to create engaging gameplay experiences.

Game Development:

1. Assist in game design, prototyping, and testing.
2. Develop and maintain game features, levels, and UI.
3. Optimize game performance, memory usage, and loading times.

Team Collaboration:

1. Work closely with artists, designers, and sound engineers.
2. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
3. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Testing and Debugging:

1. Identify and resolve bugs, crashes, and performance issues.
2. Create and maintain test cases and automated testing scripts.

Learning and Growth:

1. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
2. Participate in workshops, training sessions, and conferences.

Requirements:

Essential:

1- 2-3 years of game development experience or relevant projects.
2. Proficiency in one or more programming languages (C++, Java, C#, Python).
3. Familiarity with game engines (Unity, Unreal Engine).
4. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Desirable:

1. Experience with 3D graphics, physics, or AI.
2. Knowledge of game development pipelines and tools.
3. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
4. Portfolio showcasing game development projects.
